I wish I could tell you that I haven’t been sitting on my laptop in London inside on a beautiful sunny Sunday trip planning. But alas, I have. Even though I thought I got most of the major stuff out of the way before I left, there are still loose ends I need to tie and it’s giving me ANXIETY. Anyways, yes I’ve just spent the past few hours planning but I feel better now and I can go outside soon.
I love London. My past few days here have been amazing. They’ve made the anxiety of wondering whether I should have booked this trip worth it. I feel calm and at peace as if I’ve always lived here. It’s wild.
Heading out for my trip had me learn a few lessons which is:
Don’t leave travel insurance (primarily emergency medical insurance) til the last minute. I spent many hours on hold.
Don’t leave getting some cash in the local currency to the last minute… you’ll save time by just ordering some from your local bank ahead of time.
Anyways. I am proud of myself because I’m gone for 3.5 months and I only checked one piece of luggage and one carry-on.
